Whatever empowers you — embrace and rock that shit. . For some, seeing others nude and rocking their body in its natural form is empowering For some, seeing others dress modestly and rocking that outfit is empowering. And for some maybe it all is empowering. What empowers us, is different for every person — its not our place to tell someone what is and what isn’t empowering for them. . So — whatever empowers you my love, rock it, own it, and set that soul of yours wild. We don’t have enough time in this life, to be constantly worried and changing ourselves for others. Our time is better spent — being happy and being comfortable. . . @aloyoga #handstand #split #embraceyourself #empoweringwomen #inversion #nature #yogaphotography

SO ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH EVERYBODY! I’m holding so much love in my heart right now. It’s overflowing. Our teacher training group here at the studio. The team, making it all possible. My family. All of you; every person on here reading my thoughts and sending so much love my way every day… I love you so much. It’s quite remarkable. I’m always split when it comes to social media but right now I only feel gratitude for it all. Thank you for setting a good example for the kind of epic, supportive, heart-centered community the internet actually can create!❤️✨ Sending love and love and love and love to YOU. x . . . #YogaGirl #yogaeverydamnday #socialmedia #compassion #truth #life #supyoga #downwarddog #sea #ocean #surf #surfboard #sunshine #island #thankyou

She’s a yoga teacher who keeps everything really down to earth, showing aspects of her family life, as well as some enviable yoga shots in the sunshine. Rachel has opened our eyes to a yoga career-family balance.

Rachel has made yoga her full-time job, something which we can all do. She now has a blog, podcast, YouTube channel, an e-commerce shop, runs a yoga retreat center, owns a restaurant and offers free yoga classes every week on her website. This innovation is shaping the world of yoga.

I fell in love with the high quality + stylish @JCPenney athletic wear that I wore during the #HereIAm shoot- the shorts, leggings, and tops made me feel very strong, sexy, and confident. However, we rarely see fat bodied athletes wearing revealing clothing. I think it’s because we’re expected to hide our bodies beneath layers of fabric. However, feeling good about ourselves should be a universal value- and what better way to manifest self-love than by wearing the clothes we actually WANT to wear, instead of the clothes we’re expected to wear? Regardless of body shape or size, we’re all meant to live our best lives right now, at this exact moment. But let’s face it- confidence can be hard to maintain in the face of opposition. It may not come easy, but confidence is more worthwhile than almost anything else in this world. I maintain confidence by reminding myself that I am meant to be unique- and the unexpected bits of my body and personality are the best parts. How do you maintain confidence? #sponsored

7. Josh Kramer @joshkrameryoga

Josh Kramer is an international yoga teacher who, quite effortlessly, incorporates incredible strength into his yoga. His account and entire practice of yoga are a little bit different to what you may usually see from yoga instructors, by incorporating a much larger degree of strength into his poses. We had to include Josh on the top yoga teachers list, as not only is yoga seen as quite heavily female, it’s unfairly not considered a sport of strength

Josh has used his popular Instagram account to promote his high-intensity online training videos.

Being back on the road has been so good for us. We’ve had so much fun in every city we’ve spent time in and we didn’t have high hopes for these landlocked, American cities, especially after our month long trip to Bali right before me left Austin for good. – Seven cities, four states, and twenty days ago we left the home that i had spent the longest continuous stretch living in, in my entire adult life. I tried to be realistic about traveling with everything that we own, in a Prius, with a large pupper that needs lots of energy out everyday, all while hosting events and holding space for up to 60 people per day. – The truth is though that getting to meet and spend time and share moments with some of you who have helped Pablo and i to live this dream of ours is the greatest gift i could ask for. – Sometimes people ask me if it’s odd to be hosted by people who follow me here on the gram, and to that i say ‘nope!’ If anything, I’m so grateful to get to actually meet the faces behind these virtual squares. – Ultimately we owe so much of our experiences thus far to our hosts, family, and friends that have put us up along the way until we can find a van or bus to convert into our new home. – See you today Columbus for our last workshop at @heartfeltyogastudio – Ps where should we go for dinner?😋 PC: @melanieapplegatephotography x @aloyoga
